The Virtual Events Institute (VEI) has formed a strategic partnership with Business Strategies Group (BSG) to roll out the VEI Certification Program in Asia.
The VEI Certification Program provides training and education on virtual and hybrid events and this partnership will upskill event professionals and marketers in the Asia Pacific region, including Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, Japan, China, and India.
More than 1,800 event professionals worldwide have registered for the VEI Certification Programme since its launch in July 2020. The online training program comprises 11 on-demand modules, providing a step-by-step guide for all event disciplines, across sales, marketing, content, and operations.
BSG provides research and analysis on the B2B events and media sector in Asia. Speaking about the partnership, Mark Cochrane, managing director of BSG, said: “As the events and exhibitions industry has changed significantly and rapidly during the past 15 months, it is vital for event professionals to gain new knowledge and skills to deliver high quality virtual and hybrid events. This will help to future-proof businesses and careers. We are delighted to have formed a partnership with the VEI at such a pivotal time for our industry in the Asia Pacific region.”

VEI has also established partnerships recently with Hyatt, Informa Markets, UFI, AEO, AEV, MPI UK&I Chapter, EVCOM, Soundings Connect, and EMA.
