Meeting Professionals International’s (MPI) UK & Ireland Chapter has partnered with the Virtual Events Institute (VEI) to share knowledge and best practice on digital and hybrid events in a drive to help upskill organizers across the UK and Ireland.
The VEI was established in July 2020 to provide training and education for event professionals and marketers on virtual and hybrid events. Since its launch, more than 1,800 event professionals worldwide have registered for the VEI Certification Training Program.
The OnDemand VEI training program comprises 11 on-demand modules, providing a step-by-step guide for all event disciplines, across sales, marketing, content, and operations.
Speaking about the partnership, David Young, VP of strategic partnerships at MPI UK&I, commented: “This collaboration will ensure our members and the growing global community have access to the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality virtual and hybrid events for their clients. Partnering with experts in this field allows us to offer our members the opportunity to grow their own careers and businesses.”
