Ahmed has led VEI from concept to realization. From conceiving and creating the certification course, to producing summits and webinars to meeting the inspiring entrepreneurs who are shaping the future of events and event marketing, this has been an enormously stimulating and rewarding journey and I am grateful for all the support we have received from the industry.”

Burton commented, “Sophie will be recognized as a pioneer in this industry. At a hugely pivotal moment for event professionals worldwide, she was the driving force behind the Virtual Events Institute, establishing the accreditation, benchmarks and tools that will help lead this industry on the path to digital transformation.
