Virtual Events Institute and World Indigenous Forum Announce Skills Partnership

The Virtual Events Institute and The World Indigenous Forum, the largest indigenous-focused conference and trade expo, have announced a strategic partnership to help deliver training and certification in virtual events to a cohort of indigenous business owners and marketing agencies globally.

World Indigenous Forum links indigenous leaders, politicians and indigenous rights advocates together with local indigenous business owners and leading investors to create partnerships that promote, protect and/or preserve indigenous prosperity, autonomy and economic justice. The event will be running its annual conference virtually 18th – 19th November.

There are 476 million indigenous people across 90 nations globally representing a major business community and trading partner. The World Indigenous Forum works to regenerate indigenous economies on the indigenous population’s terms.

Speaking of the partnership, World Indigenous Forum, CEO Kevin Jackson said, “We exist to support indigenous business owners globally – and to connect them with expert knowledge, international markets and the investment partners they need to finance and scale their businesses. This partnership allows us to deliver valuable training in digital skills and virtual events to indigenous marketers to assist them in promoting their businesses.”

Virtual Events Institute CEO Sophie Ahmed, commented, “World Indigenous Forum is a fantastic event and we are excited to see it taking place virtually this year. The Virtual Events Institute is delighted to support the Forum and indigenous businesses globally. Our online learning tools and certification will help indigenous marketers and event professionals take full advantage of the opportunities of virtual events and we are proud to be working with WIF.”
