Hybrid events must involve content delivery and interaction with audiences both digitally and physically.


The awards are open to both organizers and vendors. If submitted by a vendor, proof of organizer approval for the entry must be provided.

Recognizes virtual or hybrid professional association meetings or gatherings. Clear demonstration of value for attendees, sponsors, partners and speakers should be provided.




Awards


Recognizes excellence in delivering virtual or hybrid awards events. How did judging, announcements and celebration take place? To qualify for this category an event (physical, virtual or hybrid) to announce the winners must have taken place.




Brand Activation


Specifically for brands and individual organizations to celebrate their successful use of virtual or hybrid events for brand activation. The activation can be at a proprietary event or as part of an event organized by third party media owner or trade association.




Business Festival


Recognizes excellence in virtual or hybrid business festivals and distributed events. The event must have multiple event formats and components as part of its delivery.




Celebration Event


Recognizes excellence in virtual or hybrid celebratory events, including opening and closing ceremonies, parties and prize-giving.




Charity/Fundraising Event


Specifically recognizes the virtual or hybrid events expertize in the charity, fund-raising and not for profit sectors. The event can focus on fundraising, engagement or cause-awareness.




Conference


Recognizes excellence in delivering learning, engagement and education in a virtual or hybrid conference.




Consumer Exhibition


Bringing consumers and brands together in a virtual or hybrid event requires a unique blend of expertize and technology. This category recognizes excellence in virtual or hybrid B2C exhibitions and events.




Cultural Event

This award recognizes creativity, engagement and operational efficiency in the conception and execution of virtual or hybrid sports events.

Bringing buyers and sellers together in a virtual or hybrid event requires a unique blend of expertize and technology. This category recognizes excellence in virtual or hybrid B2B trade shows and expos.




Marketing Campaign

These categories are open to both organizers and vendors.

 

These categories are for companies only not for individual events, technologies or platforms which should enter the appropriate categories elsewhere.

The business must be less than 2 years old (founded 1 January 2019 of after) and the product or service must be live and in use. Concepts and new product ideas are not permitted to enter.
